Hello Forum Users,

We have re-initialised our forums following an invasion of spammers last year, which resulted in some rather unsavoury links being posted in the forums!

As a counter-measure against the spammers, we have had to enable manual validation of forum users before allowing new user accounts to be activated. I'm afraid this does mean that there is a delay of up to a day or two before new users are able to post topics in the forums, but for now at least, this is the only way of keeping the automated spammers at bay.
